MESS students helped organize the ME Department’s first annual “Get A Job Symposium” to prepare juniors and seniors for their job searches. Guest speakers included UD ME alums in industry.

The Mess worked with ~90 high schoolers. They learned about how engineering concepts can be applied to diagnosing and fixing deformities of the spine. Hands-on activities included x-ray analysis and spinal fusion.

MESS members showed off real world applications of mechanical engineering at the annual AAUW Math and Science Honors Luncheon for high school seniors in Dover, Delaware.
